Our Gang is celebrating 38 years of ice racing in 2014 and has been racing at Georgetown Lake since 1980. The first race is scheduled for December 27th and the season will run weekends through March. Races begin at 9:30 am.

Did you know that you too can participate in Ice Racing on Georgetown Lake? Yes, it is true! All you need is a 4WD or AWD vehicle, a valid Driver’s License and to pay a small registration fee! Georgetown Christmas Market width=5. The 54th Annual Georgetown Christmas Market
Each December the town of Georgetown transforms for the first two full-weekends (December 6-7, 13-14 – in 2014) into a bustling Christmas scene reminiscent of Christmas long ago: roasted chestnuts, holiday shopping, horse-drawn wagon rides, and wonderful sights and smells. Enjoy appearances by St. Nicholas in his traditional dress and the daily procession of the Santa Lucia. Carolers in Victorian costume, dancers, and other family entertainment.

Admission is always FREE. Be sure to visit the local shops and restaurants in addition to the outdoor European marketplace and vendors!
