Glacier Fest at St. Mary’s Glacier

An event every day that begins at 11:00 am, repeating indefinitely
Join us for a fun filled day August 11, from 11am to 7pm Along Silver Lake On Fall River Road complete with live music, free admission, free parking, free children’s activities, free kids fishing (12 years and under) or tour the Alice School House and Museum, take a short hike to St. Mary’s Glacier, and enjoy Vendors and Craft Booths, Horseshoes, Food, Beer and more!
Glacier Fest is a Celebration of the vibrant St. Mary’s Community and the Historic Alice Mining District.
11am – 12:15pm Open Mic
12:30pm – FIRST ANNUAL Ore Cart Races
1pm-2pm – Kind Mountain Band ( Ol’ timey, rock and roll, booty shakin’, bluegrassish)
2:30pm-3:30pm – Nick Willis (Blues and Rock)
4pm-5pm David Booker (Legendary Blues)
5:30pm-7pm – JB3 (R&B, Soul, Pop, Country & Rock)
Directions to St. Mary’s Alice:
Take I-70 West to the St. Mary’s Alice/Fall River Road Exit and follow the signs to St. Mary’s Alice. Parking is allowed in the north glacier parking lot, or the south trail head lot. The cost is $5 per day per vehicle. There are restrooms and trash facilities at both parking lots. These are the only facilities for the hike and St. Mary’s Glacier area.
Parking on Fall River Road or within the subdivisions is not allowed and is strictly enforced by the Clear Creek County Sheriff’s Department, (303) 569-3232.
