This event has been cancelled due to COVID19.
The National EMS Memorial Bike Ride, Inc. honors Emergency Medical Services personnel by organizing and implementing long distance cycling events that memorialize and celebrate the lives of those who serve everyday, those who have become sick or injured while performing their duties, and those who have died in the line of duty.
Colorado is known as a world-class cycling destination. From the flat lands to the mountains, Colorado offers riding for people of all abilities. The Colorado Route of The National EMS Memorial Bike Ride offers the breath-taking scenery of the rugged Rockies while climbing Loveland Pass from Frisco to Idaho Springs and traverses the Front Range with classic cycling from Fort Collins to Littleton. You will get to enjoy views of multiple 14ers, Colorado’s highest peaks, while cycling your way through the heart of the Rockies. With classic hill climbs, scenic backcountry roads, and cultural landmarks the Colorado ride will offer a unique experience for everyone.
Day 5, July 24th will begin in Idaho Springs, Colorado (Clear Creek County) Register Here
While Colorado offers incredible cycling, the National EMS Memorial Bike Ride mission to “memorialize and celebrate the lives of those who serve every day, those who have become sick or injured while performing their duties, and those who have died in the line of duty” will remain the primary focus. We will remember our fallen and their families while seeking to bring more awareness to the EMS profession.
