We have one of the oldest ski areas in Colorado. So try Loveland Ski area at the far west end of the county. Or try one of the newest areas – Echo Mountain, which also has night skiing and boarding. We have lots of trails for cross country skiing, snowmobiles, and snowshoeing. Want to try ice fishing? Georgetown Lake can accommodate that interest. Need to relax after a tough day on the slopes? Visit Historic Indian Springs in Idaho Springs with mineral baths and private hot tubs. Or perhaps something a little more relaxing? Sit by a fireplace and watch the snow fall for a more relaxing, easy day.
