July 4th Mountain Celebrations – Idaho Springs, Georgetown & Silver Plume

Enjoy a great day out with friends and family head out to view fireworks and celebrations in the mountains on the 4th of July.

July 4th Parade and 5k race in Georgetown. • BBQ, Fireworks at Dusk – Annual Georgetown 4th of July celebration, featuring BBQ at City Park, parade, bucket brigade races and so much more.

From 1 pm-4 pm in Silver Plume head over for the Ice Cream Social – Join us in Silver Plume’s Dinger Park for homemade baked goods and ice cream after the Georgetown BBQ.
Annual Fund Raiser for People for Silver Plume. Adults $5, Kids $3

Then before dusk head over to Idaho Springs Fireworks Display – over BRIDAL VEIL FALLS AND TAYLER WATER WHEEL • Idaho Springs – starts at dusk – great viewing from the parking lots behind Beaujos but get there early for a good spot.

Or take the Fireworks Train with the Georgetown Loop Railway and watch the Georgetown fireworks high up on the Devil’s Gate bridge.

    Maryan – the fireworks displays all start at dusk. Be there early to get a good spot though, people pack a tailgate picnic and park in the lot across the street from the Waterwheel to watch the fireworks pretty early in the evening.

    Silver Plume ice cream social is from 1-4pm

    The Georgtown 5k and parade is from - 9:00am – 12:00 pm Fireworks will be at dusk.

    The fireworks train might be all booked up by now and not sure of the times that runs, contact the Georgetown Loop RR at 1-888-456-6777 to be sure.
