Children’s Book Day – El d a de los ni os

Join the Clear Creek Library for our first year celebrating El d a de los ni os/El d a de los libros (Children’s Day/Book Day), known as D a, is a celebration EVERY DAY of children, families, and reading that culminates every year on April 30. The celebration emphasizes the importance of advocating literacy for children of all linguistic and cultural backgrounds. The program begins with storytime read in English and Spanish by our native speaker librarian Maria Lokey.

Then we will have a fiesta with pinatas, balloons, tamales and a pot luck of Mexican food. After the feast, we will do a traditional Latino craft. Everyone Welcome!
